Young Mathematics Champion meets Kaduna State Commissioner

A 13-year-old  Nasara Dabo  from Kaduna State, has emerged as the winner at the International Mathematics olympiad training. 

 Nasara who solved 34 mathematics questions within a space of 172 seconds to qualify for the next round of the international mathematics organisation IMO Competition, was presented to the Kaduna state Commissioner for Education Hajiya Hadiza Lawal.

The commissioner promised a laptop to Nasara, also that the Kaduna state government will support her academic pursuit and future endeavours to encourage other students to emulate her brilliance.

According to Mr. Philips Onyeaka, Nasara’s school teacher, who communicated with Voice of Nigeria’s correspondent, the young champion is not only a genius in mathematics but is also very smart in all her other subjects

  Nasara Dabo James, lives with her family in Kagoro village in kaduna atate. She is the first child of her family.
