2023: Nasarawa PDP Governorship Candidate Promises Youth, Women Empowerment

Nasarawa State gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming 2023 election, Dr. David Ombugadu, has promised to give topmost priority to youth and women empowerment if elected.

Ombugadu made the promise at Akwanga Local Government Area (LGA) of the state during the continuation of the statewide campaign.

The PDP governorship flag bearer said that one of the government’s responsibilities is youth and women empowerment because if one woman is empowered, she multiplies it and doubles the benefits for the nation.

He also said that the protection of lives and property is the responsibility of a government adding that any government that cannot protect the people has failed.

“If I become the governor, we will collaborate with the security agencies and deploy technology to address the insecurity and ensure that the state is safe for all to go about their activities without fear,” the PDP candidate said.

Ombugadu, therefore, called on the people to vote for all PDP candidates for good governance with priority on the welfare of its citizens.
