Bangladesh Sends Aid to Syria

Bangladesh has sent humanitarian aid and medicines for the earthquake victims in Syria, the government has said.

Disaster Management and relief ministry official, Selim Hossain said an air force cargo plane carrying tents, blankets, warm cloths, dried foods and medicine weighing about 11 tons left Dhaka for Damascus on Friday night.

A 17-member rescue team from the Bangladesh Air Force was also sent to north-western Syria. Reports said
