PDP Senatorial Candidate Promises To Tackle Insecurity

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Senator Uche Ekwunife says she is seeking a return to represent Anambra Central Senatorial Zone and fight against insecurity and other crimes.

Ekwunife said she would also employ more youths and ensure the Local Government Autonomy bill that she is sponsoring is passed.

She said; “I am partnering with the State Governor, Chukwuma Soludo to ensure that the insecurity in Anambra Central is brought to an end.

“As a woman, I am working to pave way for other women and make their voices heard, politically.”

On her projects, the lawmaker said she was the first to build roads in her constituency and has held strategic positions in key committees in the senate

She has reportedly given over 500 pensionable jobs to her constituents and currently working to ensure that they get what rightfully belongs to them at the national level.

Appreciating the Senator, the Anambra State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Dr Emeka Odogwu described her as a hardworking senator, who has done well politically.

Those present at the event were urged to re-elect Ekwunife to continue the good work in the Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.
