The Ultimate Destiny Uplifters Foundation (UDUF) Africa, recently organised its 3rd Leadership and Entrepreneurship Boot camp at Onitsha Business School in Anambra state.
The training was designed for emerging leaders and entrepreneurs to deepen their knowledge and expose them to best practices in business and leadership with a view to making them more productive in their various societies through active community engagement.
The founding President of UDUF Africa, Dr. Ezuma Chinedu commended participants for being intentional about skill development and stressed that continuous self development is key to personal success.
Lady Chinwe Ohari-Nebolisa a business Education Lecturer from Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe dwelt on how entrepreneurs could achieve success in their ventures and emphasized that success comes with a price. She identified various steps participants could adopt to be successful in one’s career and encouraged young leaders and entrepreneurs to have vision, create a consistent mindset and smart goals, explaining that a goal must be Specific, Measurable, Action-oriented, Realistic and Time-bound, for it to be seen as Smart goal.
Speaking on corporate and personal leadership, Apostle Samuel Obiorah who is the Lead Pastor, City of Transformation, Nsugbe emphasized the need for entrepreneurs to endeavour to build that which will last, through honesty, due diligence, accountability and frowned at tendencies by some entrepreneurs to cut corners.
Another Speaker, Professor Olusegun O. Sogbesan, the Director- General,Onitsha Business School took the class on strategic partnership and urged entrepreneurs to be masters of their businesses. He encouraged young leaders and entrepreneurs to commit to learning. This he believes, will ensure they are effective and efficient leaders and entrepreneurs.
Ultimate Destiny Uplifters Foundation, (UDUF)Africa is a movement centered on providing capacity-building opportunities to young people; Entrepreneurs, politicians, traditional rulers, religious leaders, and students leaders who have passion to serve humanity selflessly and transform African communities.
The Boot camp had the theme, LEADERSHIP DEXTERITY: A TOOL FOR PERSONAL, CAREER AND BUSINESS SUCCESS SUSTAINABILITY.
However, the boot camp is a short but very difficult training program : a program or situation that helps people become much better at doing something in a short period of time.
The massive attendance recorded at the event was suggestive of the fact that young leaders in Africa are now are able to lead transformation in their communities and societies at large.
Highpoints of the event were , exhibitions, powerful business illustrations, award presentation to Lady Chinwe Ohari-Nebolisa and Apostle Samuel Obiorah and presentation of certificates to participants.
