Ayu who expressed optimism that his party would win the Presidential election overwhelmingly appealed to those who may have lost in the Presidential and National Assembly elections to accept the outcome of the result in good faith.
The PDP National Chairman said, it behoves all well-meaning Nigerians to ensure that democracy thrives.
The former Senate President maintained that as a democrat and peace advocate, he had strong desire for democracy to flourish in Nigeria.
Iyorchia Ayu commended Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for doing a good job and expressed the hope that the PDP would emerge victorious after the polls.
He urged supporters of the party to be calm and law-abiding as they await the outcome of the Presidential and National Assembly election.
