Vote sorting and counting have begun in some polling units across Nigeria.
In Lagos State, vote sorting and counting has commenced at Ward 03, Unit 03, St Peters Primary School, Ikeja.
Also, counting has commenced in Ward 11, Polling Unit 08, Challenge, Texaco, Ibadan south-west LGA, of Oyo state.
In Ward 4, Polling Unit 14, Aliu, Ibadan north, Oyo state, counting is reported to be completed and being collated.
Also, in Atiba/Aafin Ward 1, Akamuja Unit 003, at Ikere Ekiti state, reports aay counting has ended.
Voters were seen waiting behind, after casting their votes to witness the sorting and counting exercise across many polling units in the region.
However, some polling units are yet to begin counting as voting is still ongoing due to technical challenges with the BVAS devices.
Oyo state
Sorting and counting of votes in the presidential and National Assembly elections held in Oyo State is ongoing.
Elections held across the 33 local government areas of the state.
Voting ended in most polling units before dark and counting commenced immediately.

Lagos State
The Presidential and National Assembly elections were concluded at most polling units in Lagos State, as sorting and counting commenced on Saturday evening.
At the polling stations, voters were seen waiting to witness the counting exercise and to verify the results that would be sent to the collation centers.

Ekiti State
Sorting and counting also commenced late on Saturday across most polling units in Ekiti state, Southwest Nigeria.
Earlier, the Resident Electoral Commissioner assured citizens that INEC would ensure that all votes are counted in a credible manner.
He also said the commission has put in place measures to ensure that the exercise comes to a successful end.
Ondo State
In Ondo state, some polling units concluded voting as early as 3:00pm local time and commenced counting immediately.
Again, voters were keen to wait to witness the counting exercise and confirm the results to be forwarded to the collation center.
There was a good turn out of voters in the state.
Osun State
In Osun state, vote counting began towards the evening on Sunday in many parts, as the state recorded a huge turn out of voters.
Voice of Nigeria reports that election was held in a peaceful atmosphere, with voters keen on ensuring the process was credible and successful as they ensured to witness the counting exercise.
Ogun State
Meanwhile in Ogun state, counting began almost simultaneously across many polling units just as voting commenced early in the state.
The state also recorded a massive turn out of voters and across many polling units, they ensured to monitor and verify the counting of votes before moving them to the collation centers.
