U-20 AFCON: Flying Eagles To Face Uganda In Quarter-Final

Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will face d Hippos of Uganda on Friday in the quarter final of the 2023 AFCON U20 Championship going on in Egypt.

The Flying Eagles beat Mozambique 2-0 to cruise to the last 8 but Uganda fell to second in Group B after lot was cast by CAF.

Nigeria as Group A runners-up are to face Uganda that are tied on points with Congo as each had five points from the three group matches they played.

Gambia play debutants, South Sudan in the other quarter final clash of the competition on Friday.

A win for the Nigerian Junior Eagles will earn them a semi final and a world cup U-20 berth.
