Presidential Election: APC Congratulates Tinubu

The governing All Progressives Congress, APC has congratulated Nigeria’s President-Elect Asiwaju Tinubu for emerging as the winner of the presidential election.

The party also appreciated Nigerians for their support which led to the party gaining another term in government.

The APC under President Muhammadu Buhari has led the government for 8 years and has won the necessary votes to remain in government for the next 4 years under President-Elect Bola Tinubu.

In a press statement signed by the APC’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Felix Morka, the party expressed confidence in Mr Tinubu to lead the country well.

“The All Progressives Congress (APC) heartily congratulates the President-Elect, His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the Vice President-Elect, His Excellency, Kashim Shettima, on their well-deserved victory at the just-concluded presidential polls.

“We have full faith and confidence that our President-elect would spare no effort in mobilizing all available human and material resources to take our country to new and lofty heights of unity, peace, economic vibrancy, security and prosperity.

“We wish to effusively thank all Nigerians for their overwhelming support that resulted in renewed mandate for our great Party. This election was vigorously contested like no other in the history of our democracy, and it witnessed the determined participation of millions of our fellow compatriots” APC said.

While commending the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for discharging its duties, APC also appreciated security agencies for ensuring peace and International Observers for monitoring the election process.

The governing party appealed to other political parties that contested in the election to make the interest of Nigerians a priority by joining the President elect to work for a better country.

The APC also appreciated President Buhari for the electoral and democratic reforms that created a conducive environment for a free and fair election to be conducted.
