AFCON 2023: Super Eagles to host Guinea Bissau in Abuja

Ahead of the crucial match day 3 of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier, the opponent of Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau has concluded an arrangement to arrive in the country on Wednesday.

The Guinean side which occupied the second position will face Nigeria in the first leg slated for Friday at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja.

The Baciro Cande boys who have their camp opened on Monday morning will observe their training for 2 days that is Monday and Tuesday at the 24 de Setembro National Stadium, Bissau venue of the second leg before embarking on a journey to Nigeria on Wednesday.

The 3-time African champions Nigeria occupied the top spot in the group and Guinea Bissau is placed second hoping to stage a return to the biennial competition for the second consecutive time.
