Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the occasion of the Eid-al Fitri, which marks the end of this year’s Ramadan fast.
In a message on his Twitter handle @ClemAgba, the minister wrote: “I rejoice with all Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of the Ramadan fast.
“May the Almighty God answer your prayers and reward your devotion with peace, happiness and prosperity,” he tweeted.
Muslims across the world are celebrating the festival of eid-al fire, which symbolises the end of a month of fasting.
This year’s fasting came at a time when the global economy is witnessing a slump in growth, which saw inflation rise across nations including Nigeria, where food prices especially groceries and Staples grew month on month by an average of over 22 percent, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.
