Teachers Registration Council Partners With INSTILL Education On Teaching Dynamics

Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, (TRCN) and INSTILL Education have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on introducing new dynamics into the profession in Nigeria.
Speaking in Abuja at the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding , the Registrar of the Council, Prof. Josiah Ajiboye revealed that contrary to several speculations about the south west and its teachers in private schools, 70 per cent were discovered not qualified.
While lamenting that 70 per cent of the unqualified teachers lacked the prerequisite to be registered by the Council, the TRCN boss stated that a large number of teachers in Nigeria have never been exposed to training and have been using outdated equipment for illustration.
Prof. Ajiboye, further stressed that ”70 per cent of teachers in private schools in the South West are unqualified”.
He noted that such unqualified persons in the teaching profession are not teachers, but cheaters.
