Nigeria’s seat of power, otherwise called the State House is moody as the nation continues to mourn the painful exit of the late Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Ibrahim Attahiru and 10 others, who died in a plane crash on Friday.
Flags within the State House and indeed across the country are flying at half-mast as directed by the President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, Muhammadu Buhari, as a mark of honour for the departed heroes.

Within the State House, people are going about their official functions with sober looks on their faces as visitors trickle in to pay their condolences to the Nigerian leader.
Secretary to Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha had on Sunday, announced the Presidential directive to fly flags at half-mast from Monday to Wednesday, this week, in honour of the late Chief of Army Staff and those who died with him.
