The Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has commended President Bola Tinubu’s administration on its efforts to improve security, education, and infrastructure in the country.
The governor noted that the federal government, under President Tinubu’s leadership, has worked closely with state governments to address insecurity, citing the example of Kaduna State’s Peace Model, which has led to significant improvements in security.
Speaking at the two-day interactive programme of the Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation with the theme “Assessing Electoral Promises: Fostering Government-Citizen Engagement for National Unity,” Governor Sani highlighted the progress made in various sectors.
On education, he praised President Tinubu’s student loan scheme, vocational training programmes, and investments in infrastructure upgrades at federal institutions.
Gov. Sani also commended the President’s efforts in healthcare, noting that over 1,000 primary healthcare centres across Northern Nigeria have been revitalised.
The Governor further highlighted the administration’s commitment to national inclusion, citing the appointment of Northerners to key ministerial and institutional leadership roles.
While acknowledging that more work still needs to be done, Governor Sani expressed optimism that the path to progress is open and the destination is in sight.
The event, which brought together stakeholders to assess electoral promises and foster government-citizen engagement, served as a platform for reflection and action towards national unity and development.
