The Nigerian Official Selection Committee (NOSC) has commenced submissions for Nigeria’s entry in the Best International Feature Film category at the 98th Academy Awards.

In a statement issued on Monday, the committee announced that qualifying films may be submitted via the official NOSC portal between 13 August and 12 September 2025.

According to the NOSC, eligible entries must be feature-length productions made outside the United States, with at least 50 per cent of the dialogue in a language other than English. Nigerian Pidgin will be accepted, and all submissions must include accurate English subtitles and comply with the technical specifications set by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
