The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has introduced three steps flow to check the 2021 UTME Results.
The essence of the new step flow is to stop the challenges students face while checking their results through the use of USSD code 55019.
The steps are as follows;
(a) Visiting the JAMB website on https://www.jamb.gov.ng
(b) On the menu bar, click on efacility
© On the page that shows up, click on UTME 2021 Main Results Notification Slip
Candidates are enjoined to type registration number and click the button to Check Results.
The development came as the exam body releases the results of 2021 examination into Nigerian Universities. The final sessions of the examination ended on Thursday across the Computer Based Centers in the country.
Voice of Nigeria Correspondent who monitored the conduct of the examinations in Lagos South West Nigeria report that over 1.2 million candidates who sat for the examination are already receiving their results online.
Lagos recorded one of the highest examination centers out of 650 approved by the university examination board. 30 centers were delisted and 53 are under watch.
The examination was hitch free across the country and 66,000 candidates from the delisted centers are expected to sit for the examination next week.
In previous examinations, results are released within 24 hours as the JAMB Registrar, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, said ”he had no reason whatsoever to withhold the results of the UTME.”
Most of the Computer Based Test, CBT centers across Lagos had to contend with the use of generators for electricity as power outages were recorded in most centers.
