President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has applauded lawmaker Adegboyega Adefarati for his exceptional contributions to national development, describing the him as a steadfast patriot whose service in education, banking, and the legislature continues to strengthen Nigeria’s democratic institutions.
In a statement issued by Presidential Spokesperson, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, to mark Adefarati’s 60th birthday on November 19, President Tinubu praised the Chairman of the House Committee on Labour, Productivity and Employment for playing a pivotal role in sustaining industrial harmony and fostering constructive engagement between the government and organised labour.
The President noted that “Adefarati’s leadership has been instrumental in strengthening the bridge between policy and people, especially in sensitive matters involving employment relations.”
President Tinubu further acknowledged the federal lawmaker’s consistent and credible voice in the National Assembly, particularly on issues surrounding infrastructure development, youth empowerment, and economic expansion.
According to him, “Adefarati’s legislative advocacy has remained impactful, reflecting a commitment to grassroots development and national progress.”
Wishing the celebrant renewed strength, good health, and greater accomplishments, President Tinubu commended Adefarati’s exemplary service to Nigeria and his continued dedication to public good.
