Stakeholders Commend Foundation for Humanitarian Impact in Adamawa

Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Northeast Nigeria, have commended the EMMANU Global Foundation for intensifying its humanitarian interventions to reduce poverty, youth restiveness, and social exclusion across the state.

The stakeholders described the foundation’s recent interventions as impactful, timely, and people-centred, calling on well-meaning individuals and community leaders to support similar initiatives that promote reconciliation, empowerment, and social stability.

In the past week alone, the EMMANU Global Foundation secured the release of 100 inmates drawn from 10 correctional centres across Adamawa State, after paying their fines to meet conditions for freedom.

The formal release took place at the Adamawa State headquarters of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) in Yola.

Beyond securing their freedom, the foundation provided each freed inmate with ₦10,000 as transport support to enable them return to their communities, amounting to ₦1 million in assistance.

Speaking at the event, the founder of the foundation, Dr. Emmanuel Musa, said the intervention was designed to address social challenges and give beneficiaries a second chance to rebuild their lives.

He said the foundation would sponsor vocational training for interested inmates, provide startup tools for entrepreneurship, and offer scholarships to those willing to return to school or pursue professional education.

The Adamawa State Comptroller of the Nigerian Correctional Service, Mr. Odunlami Ajani, commended the initiative, describing it as a major contribution to decongesting correctional facilities and supporting rehabilitation and reintegration.

As part of its broader humanitarian outreach, the foundation also visited major hospitals in the state capital,Yola and Mubi LGA, where it settled medical bills for indigent patients unable to afford treatment.

The foundation also donated food items, cash, and essential materials to orphanage homes across the state to improve the welfare of vulnerable children.

Consistent commitment

Former member representing Hong Constituency in the Adamawa State House of Assembly, Hassan Barguma, described EMMANU Global Foundation as a household name not only in Adamawa State but across the country, owing to his consistent commitment to human development and social welfare.

He called on community elders and stakeholders to give the founder, a philanthropist Dr. Emmanuel Musa a greater support to enable him do even more for the society.

Dr. Musa noted that the EMMANU Global Foundation remains committed to humanitarian service, including emergency relief, youth skills acquisition, education support, cash assistance for the less privileged, women empowerment, action against climate change, and advocacy against gender-based violence.

According to him, these initiatives reflect the foundation’s long-term dedication to human interest, dignity, and sustainable development in Adamawa State and beyond.
