Nigeria has inaugurated a 28 member Local Organising Committee (LOC), for a successful hosting of the second edition of the Africa School Games.
The committee was inaugurated on Tuesday by the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Shehu Dikko, who assured members of the LOC that the government is prepared to give them the support they need to succeed.

In his inaugural speech, Chairman of the LOC, Lanre Abari, pledged the commitment of the committee to organise and deliver an Africa School Games that will reflect the position of Nigeria as Giants of Africa.

Also inaugurated on Tuesday, was the Nigerian Federation of American Football (NFAF) with Babajide Akeredolu as President of the Federation.
The Nigerian Federation of American Football is comprised of twenty one Board members, appointed to drive the advancement of the American Football in Nigeria, while also Leveraging on the social impact of the sport to Boost Nigeria’s GDP.
