The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 272 new cases of Covid-19 on the 24th of July,2021.
Till date, 170895 cases have been confirmed, 164788 cases have been discharged and 2132 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
The 272 new cases are reported from 9 states- Lagos (182), Rivers (34), Ondo(24), Oyo (10), Abia (7), Ogun (7), Ekiti (5), Delta (2), and Plateau(1)
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC) activated at Level 2, continues to coordinate the national response activities according to the NCDC website.
