The Bishop of the Lutheran Church of Christ in Nigeria (LCCN), Rt Rev. Nelson Malau, has called on Nigerians to embrace love, justice, and humility as essential values for peaceful coexistence and national development.
In his Easter message, Bishop Malau extended warm greetings to citizens, urging them to reflect on the significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, which he described as a “New Exodus” from sin, death, and the power of the devil.
He emphasised that Easter serves as a reminder of the collective responsibility of believers to respond to God’s redemptive work with genuine love for God and humanity, drawing from biblical teachings.

Bishop Malau expressed optimism that the Easter season would inspire renewed commitment to righteousness and peaceful coexistence across the country.
He added that such virtues are necessary for driving meaningful social progress and national development.
He concluded by wishing Nigerians a joyful, peaceful, and victorious Easter celebration, praying that the season would strengthen unity and foster lasting peace in the nation.
