The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to feature in the 2026 Unity Cup, a four-nation tournament with Jamaica, Zimbabwe and India.
The 2026 Unity Cup is scheduled to hold from May 26th – 30th, at the hallowed turf at the Valley, home to Charlton Athletic FC.

Following the massive success of the 2025 edition, which saw Nigeria crowned champions at Brentford, the 2026 tournament marks a sentimental return to South London.
The Unity Cup was famously hosted at The Valley in 2004, a landmark event involving Nigeria, Jamaica and The Republic of Ireland that solidified the competition’s reputation for blending elite sport with cultural celebration.

“The Nigeria Football Federation is pleased with another opportunity to see the Super Eagles compete at the highly exciting and entertaining Unity Cup Tournament,” NFF President, Ibrahim Musa Gusau, said.
“As perennial champions, the Super Eagles will look to retain their title again this summer, even as they will not underrate the other participating teams viz India, Jamaica and Zimbabwe.”
“The tournament promises to be explosive and that is the setting in which the Super Eagles thrive best,” he added.
Unity Cup schedule
The tournament kicks off with a high-stakes African heavyweight clash between Nigeria and Zimbabwe. This opening Semi-Final on May 26th by 7.30pm (WAT), serves as a massive rematch following their intense 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying encounters.
The second Semi-Final on May 27th by 7.30pm (WAT), sees Jamaica take on India, a fixture that promises to be as much a spectacle in the stands as it is on the pitch.
The Grand Finals on May 30th by 7.30pm (WAT) will deliver the same electric mix of entertainment and culture that defined the 2025 event.
