2021 Hajj: Niger State urges intending pilgrims to be patient

The Niger State Pilgrims welfare Board in North Central Nigeria, has appealed to intending pilgrims for the 2021 Hajj exercise to be patient with the Board for the late commencement of pilgrims registration in the State.

The Executive Secretary of the Niger State Pilgrims Board, Alhàji Umar Makun lapai, who stated this to Voice of Nigeria through the Board’s information Officer, Hassan Idris, mentioned that the 2021 Hajj registration in the State will commence as soon as seat allocation is received from the National Hajj Commission.

Lapai , who disclosed this during a visit by a team of intending pilgrims in his office on Monday, emphasised on the rollover of the 2020 registered  pilgrims as first priority for 2021 Hajj exercise from the State.

The Executive Secretary of the Niger State Pilgrims welfare Board, further enjoined the intending pilgrims to continue to pray for the actualization of 2021 Hajj exercise.

The 2020 Pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia by Muslims faithful the World over was cancelled by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia due to Civid-19 pandemic.

However, Countries around the World and some state in Nigeria have already commenced the registration of intending Pilgrims to Saudi Arabia for the 2021 Hajj operations, as the authorities of Saudi Arabia had announced taken adequate measures against the pandemic for hitch free Hajj exercise.
