Olympics: Tobi Amusan Makes Women’s 100m Hurdles Final

Nigeria’s commonwealth champion Tobi Amusan has won the first semi-final of the women’s 100m hurdles to qualify for Monday’s final with the fourth fastest time at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Amusan clocked a remarkable 12.62s to earn her place in the women’s 100m hurdles. She will become the first Nigerian finalist since the 2000 Silver Medallist Gloria Alozie at the Sydney Olympics.

She becomes Team Nigeria’s third finalist in athletics after Ese Brume (long jump) and Enoch Adegoke (100m)
