The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has congratulated Nigeria’s Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
NIPR described the Information Minister as an icon of reputation, an embodiment of public relations values, a role model, and a beacon of hope for younger generations in the field of communication.
Speaking on behalf of the Governing Council of the Institute, the President and Chairman of Council, Dr Ike Neliaku, said the Minister’s journey to becoming the nation’s spokesperson reflects intentionality, determination, and a desire to serve, anchored on professionalism, preparation, and unwavering commitment to making a difference.
“As a proud Fellow of our great Institute, the Hon. Minister has tenaciously upheld the standards and ethics of the public relations profession and today stands as a shining example of responsible communication”.
“More importantly, we are delighted to note that right from assumption of office till date, Minister Idris has carried out his duties with utmost diligence and a high sense of professionalism.
“His calm disposition and professional competence in managing public communication have brought tremendous value to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration,” he said.
Dr Neliaku stated that: “As an Institute charged with the responsibility of regulating the practice of public relations in both public and private sectors in Nigeria, the NIPR celebrates his courage, capacity, and boldness in applying the tenets of our profession in the discharge of his daily duties, especially during trying times”.
The NIPR President prayed that God grant the Minister wisdom and grace as he continues to fly the flag of professionalism and excellence.
