Arsenal finally got their hands on the Premier League trophy for the first time in 22 years, following a 2-1 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Having secured the title when Manchester City dropped points in midweek, Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal received the trophy at Selhurst Park.
Arsenal finished top on 85 points, seven clear of Manchester City in second, with Manchester United seven points further back in third after a 3-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion.

“That was beautiful,” Arteta said. “Look at the joy of all of the people, they have been waiting for this for so long. We have had difficult moments along the way, but it is all worth it when you see that kind of reaction.”
For Arteta, lifting the trophy marks a towering personal and professional milestone. After three consecutive seasons of finishing as agonising runners-up, twice to Manchester City and once to Liverpool, the Spanish manager has finally delivered the ultimate prize.
Arsenal’s path to their 14th top-flight title was forged through tactical superiority and defensive resilience. The Gunners finished the 38-game season at the summit of English football with 85 points.

While North London prepares for a week of parades and celebrations, the work is not yet finished for the newly crowned champions of England.
The Gunners have a chance to turn an incredible season into an immortal one. This week, Arteta will fly his squad to Budapest to square off against reigning European champions Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final.
If they succeed, this Arsenal squad won’t just have broken a 22-year drought, they will have secured the greatest golden era the club has ever seen.
