The Kogi State Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) joins families, schools, and communities across the state in celebrating children on the occasion of the 2026 Children’s Day celebration.
In a goodwill message, the State Project Coordinator, Ahmed Tijani Oricha, encouraged children in Kogi State to embrace learning opportunities and take advantage of AGILE programmes aimed at improving education, personal development, and life skills.
According to him, “Happy Children’s Day to all the wonderful children across Kogi State.” Today, we celebrate your dreams, talents, creativity, and boundless potential. You are the future leaders, innovators, and changemakers of our society, and Kogi AGILE remains committed to promoting quality education, safe learning spaces, and opportunities that will help you succeed.”
The SPC further urged children to remain confident, focused, and committed to excellence in their academic and personal pursuits.
“As we mark this special day, we encourage every child to keep learning, believe in themselves, and continue striving for excellence. Your voices matter, your dreams are valid, and your future is bright.”
He also reaffirmed the commitment of the Kogi State AGILE Project to supporting initiatives that create a conducive learning environment and equip children with the skills needed for a productive future.

He wished all children in Kogi State a joyful and memorable celebration filled with happiness, love, and laughter.
