House2House Mobilisers Unveil National Secretariat, Rally Support for APC

A political support group known as House2House (H2H) Mobilisers Worldwide has unveiled its National Secretariat in Cross River State, south-south Nigeria, with a commitment to grassroots mobilisation for the candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The unveiling ceremony brought together party leaders, stakeholders, supporters and members of the group, who described the new secretariat as a strategic hub for coordinating grassroots political engagement across the country.

Symbol of Unity

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the Central Planning Committee, Dr. Obu Ereokon, said the secretariat represented more than a physical structure, describing it as “the unveiling of a vision, a symbol of unity, commitment and grassroots empowerment.”

He said the facility would serve as “a centre for innovation, mobilisation, service and hope” while strengthening the movement’s efforts to connect with citizens from house to house and community to community.

Presenting the history of the organisation, the secretary of H2H Mobilisers, Comrade Basil Njah, said the group was established to bridge gaps in political mobilisation, voter education and grassroots coordination after previous general elections.

According to him, the organisation has expanded from a Cross River-based initiative to a nationwide movement with structures in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

“The unveiling of our national secretariat marks another historic milestone in our journey. It is the symbol of our unity, our growth, our resilience and our determination to deepen grassroots political participation throughout Nigeria,” Njah said.

Also, the Chairman of the occasion and Chief Executive Officer of Faith Plant Construction, Michael Asuquo, represented by Torty David, commended the initiative and urged members to intensify mobilisation ahead of the 2027 elections.

He said the group’s house-to-house campaign demonstrated its commitment to supporting the APC and called on members to accommodate more people and collaborate with other support groups.

“I urge you all to take the message to the grassroots. Collaboration with other support groups is also important. Continue to mobilise support for all the party’s candidates, from the President to members of the State Houses of Assembly,” he urged.

APC stalwarts, including a front-line grassroots female politician and Cross River House of Assembly candidate, Majorie Asuquo, a former federal lawmaker, Essien Ayi; and the head of a government agency, Okokon Effiom, presented goodwill messages at the event, which featured the official unveiling of the secretariat and tape-cutting, including cultural performances.
