The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, has urged members of the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 to embrace entrepreneurship and self-reliance by applying the skills acquired through the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) Programme.
The advice was contained in a farewell message to the outgoing corps members, signed by the NYSC Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, to mark the successful completion of their one-year national service.
The Director General encouraged the outgoing corps members to leverage the skills acquired under the SAED Programme to become successful entrepreneurs and employers of labour.

He also congratulated them on the successful completion of their service year and commended their dedication, diligence, and patriotism, noting that their contributions at their various Places of Primary Assignment positively impacted communities and supported national development.
General Nafiu further urged the outgoing corps members to remain worthy ambassadors of the NYSC by upholding the values of discipline, unity, integrity, and selfless service wherever they may find themselves.
He also called on them to remain committed to the unity and progress of Nigeria, stressing that building a better nation requires the collective efforts of all citizens.
