Nigerian Star, Harcher Drops Two New Singles

Nigerian Afrobeats artiste Abdul Rahman Yusuf, better known as Harcher, has released two fresh singles, ‘Heavenly’ and ‘Lover Lover’, just 15 days after unveiling ‘Angelina’.

The two tracks were released on Sunday, 30 August 2026, and are now available on major streaming platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Audiomack and Boomplay.

The drop marks another busy period for the Bullion Records act, who has also been on tour across the United Kingdom throughout August.

Harcher first released ‘Angelina’ on 15 August before following up with the new double release. The three songs in just over two weeks expand a catalogue that already includes ‘Peace’, ‘L.O.V.E’, ‘Dance to It (Jo Si)’, ‘Stamina’ and ‘Mey Suya’ featuring Fido.

Speaking on the new music, Harcher said the singles reflect different sides of his growth as an artiste.

“I am very excited to release ‘Heavenly’ and ‘Lover Lover’. These songs represent different sides of my creativity, and I believe they show how much I am growing as an artiste,” he stated.

The singer noted that he is focused on crafting a sound that resonates with listeners both in Nigeria and abroad.

“I want my music to connect with people, whether they are listening in Nigeria, the UK or anywhere else in the world. I am constantly learning, improving my sound and trying new things, and these songs are part of that journey,” he disclosed.

The new releases arrive during Harcher’s ongoing UK tour, which kicked off in early August.

He opened the run at Forum Digbeth in Birmingham on 7 August, then played Outernet London two days later. On 15 August, he performed at the Afro Plug Festival at Vale Arena in Cardiff.

The next day he appeared at Albert Hall and Xscape Manchester, before returning to London on 22 August for Timaya’s ‘20 Years on Stage’ celebration at indigo at The O2.

The tour has given the artiste a chance to perform for audiences across the UK while promoting his expanding catalogue.

Harcher said the experience has helped him reach both existing and new fans.

“The UK tour has spiced up my existing and prospective fan base,” he revealed.

With ‘Heavenly’ and ‘Lover Lover’ now out, the artiste is pairing new music with live shows as he works to broaden his audience.

He also expressed gratitude to fans and to Bullion Records for their support.

“I am grateful to everyone who streams my songs, attends my shows, shares my music and believes in what I am doing. I also appreciate Bullion Records for giving me the platform and support to grow. I know there is still a lot of work ahead, and I am ready for it,” he emphasised.

The release of the two singles adds to what has been a packed month for Harcher, coming shortly after ‘Angelina’ and several UK performances.

The new music also gives him the chance to test fresh material with audiences at home and overseas as he continues to build his career in the Afrobeats scene.
