The Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, on her birthday.
General Musa commended the First Lady’s contributions to social welfare, women and youth empowerment, and support for members of the Armed Forces and their families as contained in a statement issued by the Special Assistant to the Minister on Media, Leah Katung-Babatunde.
He conveyed the felicitations on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces of Nigeria and his family, describing the First Lady as “a beacon of hope, grace and compassion whose public service and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, continue to inspire Nigerians.”
The Minister highlighted Senator Tinubu’s efforts through the Renewed Hope Initiative to support vulnerable communities, empower women and young people, and advance social welfare, describing her contribution as “significant to the country’s socio-economic development.”
He also commended her continued support for personnel of the Armed Forces and their families, noting her empathy and encouragement towards those serving to secure the nation.
General Musa prayed for divine blessings, good health, long life, wisdom and renewed strength for the First Lady as she continues her public service alongside the President.
He said the Ministry of Defence joins the First Family, friends, well-wishers and Nigerians in wishing Senator Oluremi Tinubu a memorable birthday and many more years of service to humanity.
