President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has called on domestic and international investors to explore 65 investment-ready projects valued at $78.5 billion identified by the Nigerian Government, pledging his administration’s commitment to removing regulatory and institutional barriers that could impede their implementation.

The President states that the projects, spanning key sectors of the economy, were designed to attract productive investments, stimulate employment and translate the administration’s economic reforms into tangible improvements in the living standards of Nigerians.

President Tinubu made this known on Friday in a statement posted on his verified X account, @officialABAT, where he also welcomed the World Bank Group’s initiative to mobilise up to $5.79 billion in private sector financing for Nigeria.

The President explained that his administration’s economic reforms were aimed at fostering a competitive investment climate, stimulating business growth and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for Nigerians.

He noted that Nigeria had moved beyond the implementation of reforms to identifying commercially viable projects capable of attracting significant private sector investment and accelerating economic growth.

“Nigeria has gone a step further to put together a pipeline of 65 bankable projects seeking $78.5 billion in investment”, the President declared.

He disclosed that the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, presented the investment opportunities alongside the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Olayemi Cardoso, at the Nigeria Investors Forum held on the sidelines of the 2026 International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok, Thailand.

The President urged prospective investors to explore the projects through the Federal Government’s Projects Nigeria investment platform, which provides opportunities for direct engagement with project sponsors.

“I invite Nigerian and international investors to examine these projects and engage directly with their sponsors through Projects Nigeria,” he stated.

Giving assurances of the government’s support, President Tinubu added “our administration will work with you to resolve obstacles and move viable investments into execution, creating jobs and expanding opportunities for our people”.

The President maintained that the administration’s economic reforms were intended to lay a sustainable foundation for investment-driven growth and broader economic prosperity.

“We undertook our economic reforms to build a stronger foundation for investment and give more Nigerians the opportunity to earn a better living”, he said.

President Tinubu  expressed satisfaction with the World Bank Group’s efforts to mobilise private capital for Nigeria, describing the initiative as complementary to the government’s drive to expand investment in productive sectors.

“I welcome the World Bank Group’s work to mobilise up to $5.79 billion in private financing for Nigeria. This partnership supports our efforts to help businesses expand and attract investment into agriculture and digital infrastructure“, the President stated.
