APC LG Congresses: Committee describes conduct as free, fair and credible

The Chairman of the Monitoring committee of Sokoto All Progressive Congress, APC local government Congresses from the Party Headquarters, Abubakar Suleiman, has expressed satisfaction with conduct of the excercise.
Mr Suleiman stated this shortly after annoncing the names of the new elected Party leaders in Sokoto South local government area.
He commended Party stakeholders and members for their cooperation, solidarity and working together for the progress of the party.
” We congratulated Senator Wamakko for his commitments towards uniting the party, because without his zeal the unity of members witnessing in the state will not be here.
” We also commended you highly, because some states are not united as Sokoto and we have witnessed the unity which is worth emulating,” the Committee Chairman said.
He applauded the efficacy of the consensus strategy as successfully deployed by the party in the state during the excercise.
The APC, Sokoto State Chairman Caretaker Committee, Isah Achida, has expressed delight with the peaceful conduct of the LG congresses across the state.
He said the party in the state chose to adopt consensus strategy in order to maintain unity of the party.
” History has just repeated itself as we had at several times employed consensus and it worked well .
” it is one and indivisible, just as we will continue to be same that’s why we employ consensus strategy,” he said.
Achida lauded all the stakeholders who had exhibited exemplary commitment towards ensuring the success of the exercise.
Also, the APC Governorship Candidate in 2019 elections, and former Deputy Governor, Ahmed Aliyu Sokoto has said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is ready to reclaim its stolen mandate come 2023.
Aliyu, who is the Executive Secretary, Police Trust Fund called on people to come and join APC as it’s the only largest party in Africa.
“APC is waxing stronger and more formidable in readiness to win the state governorship seat in 2023.
“Sokoto people are a testimony to the popularity of our great party, APC,” he said.
The former Deputy Governor further commended the party for providing consensus and elective options for the conduct of the congress exercise.
