A socio-political pressure group, Afaigbo bu Ofu, has thrown its weight behind the candidate of the All Progressives Congress Sen. Andy Uba for the 6th November, gubernatorial election.
It noted that the party’s candidate has a comprehensive blueprint to drive the state into economic development and total transformation.
The Coordinator of the group, Mr. Onyedika Chukwuma, who was addressing party supporters in Awka, said they have found Senator Uba worthy to deliver the state from underdevelopment.
He added that their members drawn from the 326 wards in the state came to show solidarity to the party and its candidate to connect the state to the centre.
Responding, the Party’s Candidate, Sen Andy Uba, assured them that their support would not be in vain as he had come to liberate the people of the state.
While commending them for making the wise decision, he urged them to work for the success of the party during the poll, saying that such would guarantee the implementation of his key developmental agenda for the state.
