Fire has gutted Sokoto Central Market, destroying properties worth billions of naira.
The fire which began at the early of hours of Tuesday cannot be traced to a major cause as at the time of filing in the report.
An eye witness, Sanusi Muhammad said the cause of the fire was not ascertained.
The officials of Nigeria Fire Service, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp, NEMA and SEMA, other security agencies were doing their best to bring the situation under control though its beyond control.
