President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday received Abia State Governor Alex Otti at the Presidential Villa, Abuja Nigeria’s capital.
Gov Otti’s visit held few days after his visit to the detained IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, at the Sokoto prison facility.
Otti’s visit to Kanu had been conducted alongside the separatist leader’s younger brother, Emmanuel Kanu; Abia State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Ikechukwu Uwanna (SAN); and his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ferdinand Ekeoma. Officials of the Sokoto State Government were also present.
Otti has maintained that addressing issues surrounding Kanu’s detention is a major priority for his administration.
