African Finance Summit: President Buhari leaves for France

President Muhammadu Buhari has departed Abuja for Paris, France to attend the African Finance Summit hosted by the French President, Emmanuel Macron.

The aircraft conveying the President took off from the presidential wing of the Nnamdi Azikie international airport, Abuja at about 14: GMT.

The summit would focus on reviewing the African economy, following the devastating effect of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Nigerian leader is accompanied by Ministers of Finance, Health, Foreign Affairs and Industry, Trade and Investment.

He is expected to spend four days in France.
