Banditry: Nigerian Troops rescue 5 kidnapped Students in Kaduna State

Troops of 1 Division FCC Nigerian Army has rescued 5 students of the College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka, Kaduna State who were kidnapped by bandits on 11 March 2021.

A statement by the Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima said the rescue took place on Monday, 5 April 2021 and the students are currently receiving medical attention in a military facility in Kaduna.

The rescued students are Abubakar Yakubu, Francis Paul, Obadiya Habakkuk, Amina Yusuf and Maryam Danladi.

The General Officer Commanding 1 Division, Major General DH Ali-Keffi commended the troops for their effort and charged them not to rest on their oars until all kidnapped victims were rescued and returned to their families.
