Collation of election results ongoing in Niger State

The collation of election results is ongoing at the Niger State Independent National Electoral Commission in Minna, the State capital.

The Resident Electoral Commissioner in Nigeria State, Ahmed Yishau Garki declared the Collation open.

Presented at the hall are the Collation Officer for Niger State, Professor Cei Alawa, Returning officers, Observers, Security Personnel,  Journalists and Party Agents among others.

Six out of the twenty-five Local governments that have presented their results are Wushishi, Edati, Rafi, Gbako, Katcha and Gurara Local governments.

The Collation exercise is currently on break waiting for Returning officers from the remaining nineteen local governments
