Davido Features On America’s ‘The Daily Show’

Nigerian Award-winning singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, featured on American show “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah”.

Davido spoke on different issues, including his recently released third studio album, “A Better Time”.

One highlight of the interview was when the host of the show asked about the pronunciation of his name.

Trevor Noah asked Davido for the correct pronunciation of his stage name following the debate he had with his friends about the name.

The superstar simply said his name is pronounced differently by different people across the world.

He said despite the pronunciation, it doesn’t change the fact that his real name is David.

Earlier, Lauren Woulard, Communications Manager of MTV Entertainment Group, said MTV was proud to have Davido on the show.

 

“We are excited to share that Nigerian-American artiste, producer & label CEO, Davido, will join Trevor Noah for an in-depth interview on “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” tonight at 11PM ET/PT,” she said in a statement.

The Daily Show is an American late-night talk and news satire television programme, which airs each Monday through Thursday on Comedy Central.

It has played host to political figures, media personalities and different celebrities.

Trevor Noah is a South African comedian, television host, writer, producer, political commentator, and actor. He is the host of The Daily Show, an American satirical news program on Comedy Central.
