The National Youths Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria has commended all the Corps Members who participated in the last Presidential and National Assembly election for their peaceful conduct and self-discipline exhibited during the election.
The NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs Mercy Bamai gave this commendation during the passing out parade of 2022 Batch ‘A’ stream ‘II’ in Abakaliki the State Capital.
Bamai also Commended all the passing out Corps Members for their “active participation in the activities of the scheme during their service year.”
“You must continue to be of good behavior and also good Ambassadors of the NYSC. Don’t involve yourself in anything that can jeopardise the image of NYSC, your Country as well as your family.” She said.
The NYSC State Coordinator informed the corps members that they can still participate in the forthcoming Governorship and State Assembly election.
“The total number of this batch is 649, out of which, males are 330, females are 319 but Absconded ones are 8 males. Those whose service was extended are 19 Corps Members, 12 males, and 7 females.”
