Ebonyi State: NYSC tasks Corps members on obedience to authority

The National Youth Service Corps NYSC in Ebonyi State South-East Nigeria has urged all the newly sworn-in corps members to be law-abiding throughout their orientation course in the camp.

The NYSC State Coordinator, Mrs Mercy Bamai Dawuda stated this in her address during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2021 Batch ‘B’ Stream 1 Orientation Course at the NYSC  Permanent Orientation Camp, Old MacGregor College Affikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.

Mrs Bamai said the whole exercise is going smoothly and orderly.

“I wish to inform you that a total of 1518 Corps members made up of 718 males and 800 females went through registration exercise, they are adopting the regimentation of the Camp, which shows they are ready for the service year, she added.

The Coordinator thanked the Chief Judge of Ebonyi State, Justice Elvis Ngene, who was represented by Justice Iheanacho Chima for coming to perform the swearing-in exercise.

Bamai appreciated the efforts of all the security Agencies for making the ceremony peaceful.

She commended the Staff and Management of NYSC for their hard work to ensure a successful swearing-in ceremony.
