The electoral officers are set to begin accreditation and voting exercise for the Gubernatorial and House of Assembly elections in Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital, North-east Nigeria.
At the Government House polling unit No 002, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, officials arrived at 6.45 am (local time), with the electoral materials for the poll.
The Government House polling unit has a total number of 1241 registered voters.
The environment around the area is peaceful and calm.
