Insecurity: Ebonyi government distributes 100 motorcycles to security agencies

Following the persistence of Communal clash in Effium and Ezza-Effium Community, Ebonyi State Government Southeast Nigeria has distributed 100 motorcycles to aid security operatives in tackling the crisis.

The State Commissioner for Internal Security, Border Peace and Conflict Resolution, Mr. Stanley Okoroemegha made this Known to Journalists in Abakaliki the State capital.

Mr. Okoroemegha said the motorcycles would help the security agents in the community to enter the nooks and crannies of the community to fish out hoodlums in the area.

“These motorcycles have been distributed to the military, Police and Neighbourhood watch in Effium and Ezza-Effium Community to aid them in bringing lasting peace in the area. 20 motorcycles were given to Military, 30 to Police and 50 to Neighborhood watch,” Okoroemegha explained.

He advised them to make judicious use of the motorcycle.
