The Kaduna State Commissioner for Education, Shehu Makarfi says any private school that reopens in the State will be made to face the wrath of the law.

He disclosed at a joint press briefing with the Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs on issues related to school resumption in Kaduna.

According to him, all private and public schools in the State have been advised to withhold resumption based on security reports.

Makarfi said schools will remain closed until the Ministry is advised professionally to reopen by security personnel.

His counterpart, Commissioner, Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan explained that the Military, Police and other agencies are still carrying out operations against bandits across the State, hence, making it impossible for the government to reopen schools.

He said citizens can make further inquiries at the Ministry concerning the issue for further clarifications.
