In a goodwill message issued on Friday, the Governor congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast, describing the holy month as a period of spiritual renewal, discipline, and devotion to Allah.

“My family and I wish the people of Kwara State, especially the Muslim community, a blessed Eid-ul-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan fast,” he said.

AbdulRazaq, who is currently in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia performing the lesser Hajj (Umrah), prayed that Allah accepts the worship and supplications offered during the month.

“I pray to Allaah to accept our worship and our supplication whilst the month lasted, and to give us the grace to remain faithful and submissive to Him, adherent to the best of manners that the month taught, and observant of His commandments at all times,” he added.

The NGF Chairman urged Muslims to uphold the values of discipline, compassion, and godliness beyond Ramadan, stressing that such virtues are essential for national cohesion and sustainable development.

He also called on Nigerians to continue to promote peaceful coexistence, unity, and mutual respect, noting that collective commitment is required to advance the country’s progress.

“Eid Mubaarak, brethren!” the Governor said.

AbdulRazaq is observing the Eid celebrations from Saudi Arabia, where he is currently undertaking the Umrah pilgrimage.
