Nigeria records 685 new COVID-19 cases

Nigeria has recorded 685 new cases of corona-virus in the country.

This was contained in a report published by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Sunday night.

According to the agency, the total number of infections in the country now stands at 131,242.

“Till date, 131,242 cases have been confirmed, 104,989 cases have been discharged and 1586 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

“Our discharges today include 901 community recoveries in Lagos State  and 123 community recoveries in Plateau State managed in line with guidelines.

“Testing is critical in the fight against COVID19. It enables prompt clinical care for confirmed cases. The Agency stated.
