El-Kanemi Warriors beat Abia Warriors 2-0 on Match Day 28 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), at the El-Kanemi Warriors Sport Complex in Maiduguri, Borno State.
Midfielder Daddy Abdulrahman gave El-kanemi Warriors the lead from the penalty spot in the 22nd minute.
The hosts then extended its lead through Bashir Musa in the 86th minute to secure all three (3) points for El-Kanemi Warriors.

El-Kanemi Warriors moved to sixth position on the table with 41 points from 28 matches, while Abia Warriors are in fifth with 43 points.
