Oleksandr Usyk Accepts Tyson Fury’s 70/30 Terms

Tyson Fury gets his bluff call by Oleksandr Usyk, the Ukrainian boxer has agree to the terms him and his team consider unfair. Fury sent an ultimatum to Usyk for him to accept a 70/30 split purse in a take it or leave situation. He also added that he would substract 1% from that initial deal for every day he takes to agree to the deal. Only a few hours later, the Ukraine champion agreed by posting his own video but he also has terms of his own. Unless Tyson Fury doesn’t have a heart,Oleksandr Usyk‘s request seems completely reasonable. At this point, the only reason Fury wouldn’t agree is if he is actually scared to fight Usyk.

Oleksandr Usyk has managed to juggle between many different activities since last year, he has done an incredible job so far. As the war broke out in his native Ukraine, he stayed to help with the war but he also had to fight Anthony Joshua for the second time. During all that time until now, the main concern for Usyk has been helping people who are suffering from the war against Russia. He will take all the money he can get, but it will be to keep helping his compatriots. As a counter-offer, Usyk agreed to Tyson Fury’s 70/30 proposal but there is one catch.

If Tyson Fury agrees to fight him for that money, Usyk is asking Tyson to agree to pay £1 million in aide to the Ukrainian people. Fury still hasn’t responded to this but we can’t imagine him saying no to that. It all points at an imminent heavyweight fight for the lineal championship. Usyk also added a fun knickname to his response, he said: “Hey, Greedy Belly. I accept your off of a 70-30 split to fight on April 29 at Wembley. But you will promise to donate £1million to the people of Ukraine immediately after the fight. And for every day you delay you will pay one per cent of your purse to the Ukrainian people. Deal?”
