President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reiterated the administration’s determination to revitalize infrastructure across key sectors of Nigeria.
President Tinubu made this statement on Tuesday during the inauguration of the rehabilitated International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja, which has now been renamed the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre.
The President underscored the importance of modern infrastructure, describing it as the backbone of a thriving economy in an inclusive and progressive society.
“The International Conference Center is part of our country’s larger vision to become a hub of original diplomacy, continental trade discussion, global partnership, and many more thoughtful, well-outlined goals that reflect our Nigeria first,” the President stated.

The President also lauded the commitment of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to details and quality, urging him to remain focused and ignore distractions.
“Through the Renewed Hope Agenda, we are determined to renew infrastructure across the key sectors of this country: transportation, healthcare, energy, and urban development.”
Further commending the administration of the Federal Capital Territory, President Tinubu noted that the Minister of the FCT has reflected Nigeria and Nigerians in their real characters as a people with well-defined standards and strong determination.
He lauded the FCT Minister for portraying the country as such in the quality of works being carried out in the nation’s capital.
President Tinubu, who was taken through a guided tour of the refurbished facility, also hailed the work done on the conference centre, which hosts some of the most significant events in the FCT.
“You reflect us as people of quality, people of character, people of determination, people of great spirit. That’s what we are. And I’m glad you are reflecting that. Don’t pay attention to the busybodies and the bystanders; whatever they say, continue with your good work.
“You are a transformational leader. You have the foresight, the vision, and the determination to succeed. Thank you very much,” the President added.
